The Saslong track is one of the Club 5 Classic Downhill races at Val Gardena, Italy. It's one of the American Downhillers favorite races due to the huge amount of airtime and big sweeping turns. The Saslong is perfectly suited to the Americans lust for flight and speed. In fact Steven Nyman has won the race 3 times - only 2 racers have won it more than that Franz Klammer and Kristian Ghedina with 4 each.
