The Dolomites DreamTrip is turning into one of our favorite weeks of the season! Past trips continually exceed our expectations with awe-inspiring scenery, incredible food that is super affordable and a lodge that will knock your socks off. Skiing in Italy is affordable and tasty! Not only that the 2024/25 Base IKON PASS also includes 5 Days Dolomitis Superski pass, which further discounts the price of this already affordable trip.
In typical ADL fashion, we are integrating a little bit of World Cup experience into this trip... In this case our hosts for the week are the Italian sister brother legends - Manuela and Manfred Molgg - as well as Manuela's husband, Werner Heel, who used to race speed for Italy on the World Cup! We will be staying at their modern lodge and enjoying incredible breakfasts cooked up by their mother. We will ski the famous Sellaronda where will ski around 5 different resorts, ski down the SASLONG Downhill course and end with the best lunch in Italy. If we can get Manuela time away from her baby boy she will ski a morning with us at her home mountain of Kronplatz. It's a unique experience with not just locals, but legendary locals.

Small Group Size: We will only be taking 12-14 people total on this trip plus your host Kyle Watson. Typical ADL pro style trip. We spend less time herding cats and more time skiing and having fun.
Trip Program
Day 1:Depart USA Saturday March 8th, Arrive Munich Sunday March 9th
Day 2: Sunday March 9th, 2025 - Transfer by private vans to the hotel in Kronplatz - approx time 3.5 hours.
Day 3: Monday - Kronplatz - skiing and an optional visit to the Reinhold Messner Museum at the top of the mountain.
Day 3:Tuesday - Alta Badia - Free Skiing all day. Ski the famous Gran Risa.
Day 4:Wed - "Sellaronda" - a 40km circuit around the Sella Mountain Range
Day 5:Thursday -More Skiing and Eating, Resort TBD based on best conditions
Day 6:Friday - Cortina D'Ampezo - Free Skiing all day.
Day 7:Saturday - Drive back through Innsbruck and stop for lunch in our favorite old town beer stubbe and then onto Munich for our last night.
Day 8:Sunday - Fly home most flights leave early AM. Arrive back same day.
TRAVELER PROFILE OR STYLE
Trip Style:We are super excited to be back for the 4th year of the Dolomites DreamTrip and especially happy to have the World Cup Molgg siblings as our hosts to help us experience the best of San Vigilio di Marebbe and surrounding Dolomites region, in classic ADL style.
Traveler Type:We are looking for fun travelers who like to discover new places together. That means you are flexible, low maintenance and like to go with the flow and to be surprised by what comes around the next corner. Enjoy Italian food and the good life. Schedules are easy going with an emphasis on enjoying the moment and not always knowing what comes next. We are in Italy so life is easy. If you like being on highly scheduled/detailed trip this isn't for you.
Skier Type: Like all ADL Dreamtrips we cater to advanced/expert skiers. That means you know how to read trail maps and are comfortable skiing any run on the mountain. It also means you know how to ski back to the base or hotel by yourself if you so choose. We don't usually ski in huge groups with a tour guide showing us all the runs on the mountain... we look, we evaluate and we go sometimes all together but mostly we divide into smaller more manageable groups. We run trips for independent and skilled skiers.
Roommates: On this trip we have nice apartment style rooms that sleep 2 people each, but we have a couple units that are 2 and 3 bedrooms. If you have some good friends or 2 couples this bigger rooms would be great for you. We have done all the dirty work, the vans, hotels and itinerary are all reserved. You just need to show up and be ready to experience it all. Who's in?
- Airfare to Munich International Airport. The ADL has access to its own exclusive airfare deals with Delta AIrlines from anywhere they fly in the USA. Please ask us for assistance with airfare if desired.
