Join Us for the Super Bowl of Ski Races - The Streif!
It's the most famous and nasty downhill in the world, The Streif. The Hahnenkamm Race turns 85 this year and is a must see for any true ski race fan. The Hahnenkamm weekend is far more than a ski race. It's you and 60-80,000 other passionate ski fans at the downhill and in town at any given time. It's a party, a get-together and a celebration of skiing!!
Our guests will enjoy all the race action from the Friday Special Downhill, Saturday Downhill and Sunday Slalom Races, while skiing the best of Kitzbuhels 100KM of runs. We will eat at various places on the mountain and experience an ADL exclusive party with the US Ski Team at a traditional mountain hutte Saturday night after the big race.
Monday following the race weekend at Kitzbuhel, we depart for Schladming, about 2.5 hours drive East and stop along the way at the ATOMIC FACTORY for a private tour.
We free ski Schladming all day on Tuesday and even get to race in our annual ADL timed GS race and Speed runs. Later that evening we join 60k other fans to watch the famous SCHLADMING Night GS from a special VIP viewing area in the finish. The VIP seats include a special dinner and drinks before and during the race. It's a race that's hard to describe for excitement and atmosphere.
Now in our 10th year we also include an extra 2 days of pure free skiing and further exploration of the best of Austria. On Tuesday we ski Schladming where the race is held that night. Wednesday we will drive to nearby resorts of Obertauren or Zauchensee for really good freeride skiing and return to watch the NIGHT SLALOM. These add-on ski days will really give you a taste of the whole Austrian ski culture experience.
We will spend our last night at a nice Munich Airport Hotel and have dinner and beers at the Weihenstephan Brewery, the oldest brewery in the world and commonly known to be inhabited by hungry American Downhillers.
It's not called the DREAM TRIP for nothing!

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
This is the first World Cup race that Bill Johnson won in 1984 prior to winning Gold at the Olympics. The racers reach their highest speeds on this course and also ski under the train just like David Chappelet (Robert Redford) did in the movie Downhill Racer. The trip includes 7 nights in Lauterbrunnen, 7 days all resorts lift passes, 1 Day of off-piste guided skiing, 3 days of race tickets for the Friday Combined Downhill, Saturday the famous Lauberhorn race and the Sunday slalom and 1 final night in a Zurich airport hotel so we can be there for our early flights home.
" The Lauberhorn DH in Wengen is one of the toughest and most beautiful races on the World Cup circuit. It's the longest at 2 1/2 minutes. It's the fastest topping 100+ MPH in the Hanneggschuss. You jump between a narrow rock chute, cross under a train and you do it all in the shadows of the most incredible mountain in Europe, the Eiger. I was stoked to be go back in 2021 with the ADL. I raced in Wengen 8 times in my career, and I was excited to share what I know about it with the ADL guests. " - AJ Kitt 3x Olympian and DH Legend
Our hotel is located below Wengen in the beautiful town of Lauterbrunnen. Nestled in a dramatic glacier valley our hotel has arguably the best food in the area - fondue, raclette, goulash, roti and local charcuterie. The area is characterized by steep slopes, long runs, and access to an amazing transport system through the Eiger, Schilthorn and the Monch & Jungfrau regions!
The beauty of the area will overwhelm your senses. The Wengen trip is simultaneously relaxing and exciting.
