Porsche DreamTrip, Drive Through The Austrian Alps to the Dolomites and finish with the Men's GS World Cup Opener at Soelden!

Join us for our 3rd Annual Porsche World Cup DreamTrip! This trip gets better every year and we are super excited to go back for a 3rd & 4th time. That's right we are adding a 4th trip due to overwhelming demand. The Willy's Run is a magical Porsche driving tour through some of the best roads in Europe. We begin the trip in Munich with dinner at the famous Oktoberfest beer halls. Then, we secure our Porsche rentals of choice and head out to Austria.  Our first stop leads us to Kitzbuhel, home of the famous Hahnenkamm Downhill. We will spend a day and a half there hiking down the Streif with optional golf or MTB. After that we continue on over the Glossglockner Pass into Italy and the Dolomites.

We will spend two days driving through and around the magical roads of the Dolomites. We will spend one night in Innsbruck before heading over another incredible pass into Solden, Austria. Once in Solden we will enjoy a Euro Spa Hotel with optional hiking, MTB and golf. Finally, we will watch the Men's GS opening race at the Soelden World Cup, where we will experience VIP seating and banquet hall with all the food and drinks you can handle. Travel in pure ADL & Porsche style as we get winter 2025/26 started the best way possible.

“Driving around in our convertible Porsche through the Austrian Alps and the Dolomites in gorgeous weather was an amazing way to top off our 25-year wedding anniversary! Loved hanging at the rooftop Gondola deck in Kitzbühel overlooking the start of the Hahnenkamm. Yowzah! Too many experiences to express! It was a WILLY, WILLY fast and exciting Dreamtrip. Ferdinand Porsche would have been proud of our driving. Highly Recommend.”

The Inkling: What is the Willy’s Run? Well first you have to ask what is a Willy’s. If you have been on one of our Austria Dream Trips then you would know the answer to the first part. Willy’s is a uniquely Austrian shot of Williams Pear Schnapps with a little round cocktail pear in the bottom of the glass, often adorned with a tooth-picked Austrian flag. It’s one of the most enjoyable après shots in the world, clean, refreshing with just the right amount of whooooeeeee at the finish.

The Run: The Willy’s Run is something akin to the Cannonball Run but instead of driving from NYC to Los Angeles in record time we will fly in style to Stuttgart, where we will experience the magic of Porsche at the Museum & Factory and pickup our choice of Porsches for the rest of the tour. As part of our mission, we will purchase 1 Liter bottles of Felser Williamsbirnenschnaps for only $9.00 Euros at the Interspar store in Innsbruck – We will grab 4 Liters each and make a run back to our rooms where we will pack it carefully for our journey back to the US of A.

“Just back from the exhilarating 2023 Willys Run Trip with ADL, and it’s been an absolute challenge to wind down—the thrill and energy of the adventure are still coursing through us. As newcomers to the realm of ADL Dream Trips, we embarked without a clear idea of what to anticipate. However, what unfolded during this journey was beyond our wildest expectations. All the experiences were truly taken to the next level.

What set this trip apart was its meticulous planning while leaving ample room for spontaneous, personalized diversions. ADL’s approach infused a unique, personalized touch that made every moment stand out. In classic ADL fashion, the pace was relentless, and every opportunity, was seized with gusto and the pedal was smashed to the floor board.

This was not merely a journey; it was an odyssey that surpassed mere expectations. The ADL Willys Run Trip isn’t just a vacation; it’s a heart pounding adventure.

Bist du wild genug?

“What a great trip!

Kyle did an awesome job planning out our days. From the Porsche museum/ lunch, to beers at the start Haus at Kitzbühel, group photo at the Val Gardena DH finish, or walking through old Innsbruck.

Every day had something new and fun. Not to mention VIP access to the best viewing spots at the Sölden races, and good hotels along the way. What Fun ! Then there was the driving. Oh, baby, those were some great roads. Two trips to 150 mph on the autobahn was enough to leave my palms and head sweating. But, it was the sprint up the Großglockner pass to dizzying heights that left me weak in the knees, and completely satiated. And the cherry on top might have been meeting up with 3 more 911’s, 7 total, for an extra romp up and down a few more side roads, farms and villages, to the delight of local school boys.

We might need to map out a few more Porsche excursions. Like endless lines of POW, once you’ve been bitten, you’ll be back.

Many Thanks!

Andrew

“The Willy’s Run exceeded my expectations for sure.  Lots of history and information going through the Porsche Museum and factory.  The roads were all fantastic to drive 911’s on and the fall colors were out in force.  The Dolomites are spectacular, and the roads are twisty fun all around that area. The race VIP area has excellent food, service and viewing. All around this trip has it all, highly recommended.”
